The University of Texas Neighborhood Longhorn Program (NLP) is opened to 2nd-5th graders at Pickle. Each student will have an opportunity to sign up for UT events, sports, Explore UT, College for a Day. It is also a Scholarship Program. Pickle students can earn money each year for college, depending on their grades and absences. Each scholar honoree will be able to attend a Scholar Banquet in the early Fall. Every year 4th and 5th graders attend a basketball game during the school day (40 Acres Field Trip).
