Dual Language—The Best of Both Worlds
Dual language helps students excel academically while becoming bilingual, bi-literate and bicultural. The program is committed to educating students in a multicultural learning environment and encouraging learners to celebrate diversity and become responsible citizens of the world. Dual-language students participate in a rigorous academic program that follows the AISD academic standards and curriculum.
At the elementary school level, one-way and two-way dual-language programs are offered in Spanish. The one-way program is designed for native Spanish speakers. The two-way program is designed for native Spanish speakers and native English speakers.
